I have always wanted to get involved in a humanitarian project, because helping others is a value that has always been important for me. If I can even only have a small positive impact on today’s society, it means a big victory for me. MAKE A CHANGE gave me the opportunity, with great professionalism, to actually MAKE A CHANGE and feel useful to the global community. I will continue to contribute in the years to come!

I am pleased to volunteer for MAKE A CHANGE for over a year now. The wide variety of responsibilities within an organisation enable different individuals having different skill sets to work on a common project. In my case, I contributed as a voluntary web designer helping the organisation put up their website to reach their audience. My partner and I just fell in love with the projects and the organisation’s idea. We just had to get involved!

I was thrilled to hear about MAKE A CHANGE’s plans to expand their Knowledge As A Chance – Workshops programme to Kampala. Precisely, we are planning to pass on crucial information about family planning, reproductive health, HIV prevention and women empowerment in local communities. I appreciate the possibility MAKE A CHANGE has given me to change people’s lives in Uganda. Become a volunteer and help us establish the project!

I was the first international volunteer working 2 weeks in Nairobi, Kenya. It is an incredibly breathtaking experience to work with the local community implementing sustainable development aid programmes. Especially as a women I feel the need to advance women empowerment in many countries like Kenya. With MAKE A CHANGE we provided free quality education in the fields of family planning, reproductive health and HIV prevention. An experience everybody should gain!
