Why it is important

Aiming at goals, such as expanding education, peace and human rights requires certain prerequisites. We consider establishing a healthy population in the first place of fundamental importance. Clean water, untainted food as well as the access to hygienic sanitary facilities and doctors, in case of medical needs, are of utmost importance. With human beings not having the security or not knowing, how to survive the next day, the focus on a reflective and moral organisation within a society experiences complete abundance.

Our Philosophy

  • To see health as an integral and fundamental part life so as to further the positive development of a society.
  • To encourage awareness building programmes for the well being and advancement of the society’s health.
  • To adapt our projects to the most crucial issues a community needs to address, which we evaluate in close cooperation.
  • To work closely with government and local organisations, such as self help groups, CBOs and NGOs.
  • To give access to sanitary utensils as well as facilities.
  • To provide the participants with space, where they can learn about their bodies and how to take care of their health.
  • To offer trained personnel conducting interactive group and discussion based workshops with people in need.
  • To guarantee participants a place to go and privately share issues concerning their medical needs and concerns regarding their health.
  • To aim at the highest degree of sustainability by helping people to help themselves through living a healthy life.
  • To encourage participants to see health as a chance to solve fundamental problems in their lives and thus learn to make a proactive change by being aware of the importance of one’s health.
  • To integrate a strong structure and network in our programmes, which makes health awareness become an important part of participants’ lives.
  • To adapt our projects to the most crucial issues a community needs to address, which we evaluate in close cooperation.
