Material

Frequently, we need different material resources for our programs. You can help us provide them by donating goods or old belongings!

Donate material resources

Our approach as a network of positive change is taking advantage of our community to positively impact on the development of struggling countries. We believe that a more contemporary, sustainable and practical approach towards development aid is important. We are convinced that monetary resources are not the only thing, which can be provided by privileged communities. There are a lot of material resources in the western world, which are not used anymore, available for a better price or even free. Our aim is to serve as a network to people, who intend to donate old belongings for a non-profit project. So many things lying around, collecting dust in garages, basements and lofts could be an important contribution for one of our projects.

Our Philosophy

There many materials, which can be found in abundance in the western world and used for non-profit projects. When it comes to technology and utensils, we are happy to equip project teams and charitable organisations with your donations. A notebook, which is not start of the art technology to many citizens in developed countries, can help somebody to write an essay in another part of the world. We believe, that resource management is frequently about moving something from A to B. We would like to be the link from a person, who has something to give, to those, who are in need of it.

Using items for project, which are not needed by other individuals is positive contribution to a sustainable global recycling system. In western and more developed communities many products become obsolete, because of rapid innovation. Hence, they are neither needed nor used; often just lying around or thrown away, creating additional trash. We believe that we can have a positive impact on the environment and the recycling system by reusing products, which have become obsolete in developed countries, but are still useable and in great demand in less developed regions of our planet.

Many organisations are subject to shoe string budgets. Additionally, donations have to be used very carefully and administrative costs are supposed to be as little as possible. However, costs for project materials occur naturally and inevitably. Consequently, by donating required materials, we can help with decreasing the needed cash budget of a project considerably. The funds saved can be used for another project and administrative costs generally decrease in the organisations affaires.

Some people in the community are privileged and therefore in a position to donate goods, items or other material resources, which they are not in need of. We try to pursue our recycling approach wherever applicable so as to contribute positively to the environment, while supporting non-profit projects and organisations with required materials, which otherwise would have had to be purchased. Sometimes recycling or using an item for a project is not possible, though. In this case we will sell the material donation and use the funds for our projects.
